I have a Bachelor of Visual Art & Craft, a Graduate Diploma in Arts Education and Cert IV in Training and Assessment.

In 2019 I was awarded a Scholarship in the Silversmithing Residency Program at the Bishopsland Educational Trust in the UK.
I spent 6 months learning from amazing artists & teachers (many of them Bishopsland Fellows) through a series of Masterclasses teaching their craft.

The range of techniques taught and the supported creative challenges have been influential to my repertoire of mark making and surface manipulation. The creative development opportunity to learn the traditional crafts of hand raising metal, hand engraving and chasing and repousse from very dedicated and generous artists has been invaluable to my arts practice.

Now with 25 years experience in teaching visual arts & craft across wide & varied cultural and age groups and as a Bishopsland Fellow I am ready to share my studio/workshop space and the skills I have learned on my ‘handmade’ journey.
I am forever grateful for the patience and expertise of all the Masterclasses & teachers and more aware of the importance of passing on some of what I learnt with the hope of cultivating craft skills in this country.

Jewellery & Silversmithing

In my arts practice I endeavour to use recycled metals which I purchase from certified manufacturers, collect as discarded offcuts from industry or, process myself using casting techniques.
